Intro to the HAWQS and SELECT Water Quality Models

The HAWQS and SELECT Water Quality Modeling training is a one day course that will provide watershed coordinators with an introduction to Hydrologic and Water Quality System (HAWQS), a national watershed and water quality assessment tool, and the Spatially Explicit Load Enrichment Calculation Tool (SELECT). Topics of the course will include, but not limited to (1) How HAWQS/SELECT Fits in to Watershed Protection Planning, (2) Purposes and Overview of HAWQS/SELECT, (3) Data Needs and Factors to Consider, and (4) Demonstrations of HAWQS/SELECT tools. This course is an in-depth supplement to the Introduction to Watershed Modeling course.
