Urban Best Management Practices

This course covers the importance and value of including urban BMPs in WPPs. It includes information on working with urban NPS work groups, developers and cities when developing WPPs and what management measures are typically included in WPPs to address urban NPS. Challenges faced in urban NPS management are highlighted with case studies from industry representatives. Other topics discussed include top BMPs for water quality issues, funding programs to encourage implementation, educational programs, and green infrastructure for stormwater and LID.
